Ang and Kyle | Backyard Wedding
This blog post has A LOT of photos in it, so, happy scrolling! I had so much fun pulling these images together and I feel like this set perfectly describes me as a wedding photographer. I feed off the energy of your family and your bridal party. I love chatting with your guests and getting photos of the couples and families attending your wedding. I pride myself on creating images that are striking and authentic of the person who might feel stiff and awkward in front of the camera. I love details. I love candids. I really love watching peoples faces during speeches. I love when we take a break from bridal party photos to have patio drinks. Golden hour photos and watching so many people at your wedding just be a little extra in love on the dance floor.
This wedding is such a good showcase of all of that. Some of my absolute favorite photos from the entire day are when Ang’s dad is giving his speech during the reception. I love how many guests were eager to get their photo taken. There are 3 photos toward the end of Ang and Kyle’s first dance that just make me melt.
And to end it all, some crazy ass tradition that span from Kyle’s uncles and his siblings where everyone comes out in a wacky costume and dances in a pig trough. Kyle is the last of this big family to get married and to have this tradition so the energy was next level.
Also, before I forget. Family photos. During family photos one of Ang’s bridesmaids said to me “wow, I wish my photographer did half of this.” I love spending the time on family pictures, especially if we can be outside. I will stand there and do every single combo you want me to do and I’ll encourage the ones not on the list. This stuff is important. These are the photos that will truly be passed down through generations. Take the time, lets get outside, be patient, it’s worth it.
