An old school house + a teacher + two adorable dogs named Millie and Lucy + a little white chapel + a gorgeous fall day = Casey & Johnathan's engagement session at Historical Charlton Park and Village in Hastings, Michigan.

Somehow I have ended up in Hastings four separate times this year for work at all different locations and it just keeps charming my socks off. This historic village nestled in the woods was a sight to be seen and a photographers dream. I had so much fun exploring it with Casey and Johnathan and letting the dogs run around. The only thing that would have made it better is that if the old general store actually sold chocolate milkshakes. A girl can dream, right?
